Pehel health association is India’s leading independent Human rights’ NGO, which works in 7states and 2 Union Territories of India. Beginning its journey in 2022, we have changed the lives of more than 5lac people till March 2025.
We firmly believe that every people deserves the best chance for a bright future, which is why, we are fiercely committed to ensure that people not only survive, but thrive. With a bold ambition and a powerful vigilance, we do whatever it takes to we do that.
In India and across the world, PEHEL Health Association works on-ground – every day and especially, in times of crisis. Our pioneering programs address rural areas unique needs; giving them a healthy start, an opportunity to learn as well as protection from harm. When crisis strikes, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We are the outspoken champions for rural people, ensuring that their voices are heard and their issues are given top priority. Drawing on a century of leading expertise, we take on the toughest challenges, facing the hardest-to-reach rural people – especially those unfairly excluded from the world’s progress.

While we run several programmes across India, we also work in tandem with numerous government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities across five core themes: Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, Humanitarian Response, as well as Disaster Risk Reduction and Economic well-being.
As an NGO, our journey began with these initiatives. Going forward, our organization aims to launch several more schemes focusing on women’s health and safety in the future.
The beginning : Pehel NGO emerged from a vision to address societal challenges impacting vulnerable groups, adolescents, and youth. It began with a mission to instigate transformative experiences by focusing on various areas like health, livelihood, women’s empowerment, hygiene, and education.
Growth and Initiatives: As Pehel progressed, it expanded its scope, offering internships for young adults, conducting workshops, and collaborating with corporate partners to enhance employee productivity through training and development programs, prioritizing health awareness in workplaces. Door-to-door awareness campaigns became a vital part of their outreach, ensuring medicine accessibility in rural and slum communities. The personalized support program, involving 10-12 visits for individualized awareness and research initiatives, played a crucial role in providing one-on-one assistance to those in need within the community.
Today and Future: Today, Pehel stands as a testament to significant transformations in the lives of women and children in various regions. Through Self-Help Groups, women were connected to employment opportunities, fostering their economic independence and boosting confidence by showcasing their skills and artistry. Looking forward, Pehel aims to continue expanding its initiatives, reaching more communities and bolstering their support for vulnerable groups. Plans include enhancing existing programs, exploring new avenues for impact, and fostering partnerships to create a more sustainable and empowered society.

The Pahal Health Organisation works in the rural areas through E-mitra to spread health awareness, provide benefits of government schemes, right to education, women empowerment at the panchayat level.
We have a special program for children. its name PEHEL TALENT SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION, You can donate monthly or annually for a child’s education.
You need to inform us a minimum of 15days before. For the special day program, a minimum of 60 plates are needed. You need to donate as per estimation and we will organize it. We will inform you of the date, time, location so that you can join us. If you are not available at that location, we will share the photos and videos with you. If you have the information we will publish it on social media.
