Our history-

When we initiated our work, the number of members associated with our initiative was minimal. Now, after successfully implementing our projects across all sectors in Madhya Pradesh, the count of members working with us has increased. This stands as a testament to our efforts and dedication alongside our initiative.

From the Start

At the grassroots level, we've dedicated ourselves to rural women's health, safety, and economic support through various endeavors. One such program is the Women's Security Card, highly effective for women, offering them the following benefits:

1. Provision of sanitary pads along with guidance on their usage.

2. Dissemination of comprehensive health-related information and conducting awareness campaigns.

3. Making women aware of government hospitals for deliveries and providing incentive amounts through our initiative upon delivery in these hospitals.

4. Offering financial aid through our initiative for treating diseases like uterine or cervical cancer.

5. Granting pregnant women three instances of waived consultancy fees at private hospitals upon obtaining our Women's Security Card.

Pehel NGO emerged from a vision to address societal challenges impacting vulnerable groups, adolescents, and youth. It began with a mission to instigate transformative experiences by focusing on various areas like health, livelihood, women's empowerment, hygiene, and education.

As Pehel progressed, it expanded its scope, offering internships for young adults, conducting workshops, and collaborating with corporate partners to enhance employee productivity through training and development programs, prioritizing health awareness in workplaces.

Today, Pehel stands as a testament to significant transformations in the lives of women and children in various regions. Through Self-Help Groups, women were connected to employment opportunities, fostering their economic independence and boosting confidence by showcasing their skills and artistry.

Looking forward, Pehel aims to continue expanding its initiatives, reaching more communities and bolstering their support for vulnerable groups. Plans include enhancing existing programs, exploring new avenues for impact, and fostering partnerships to create a more sustainable and empowered society
